The hike to the mysterious ghost town is only a mere 0.5 miles round trip, however this can become elongated as the trail is not maintained and not marked. We spent over thirty minutes alone exploring and searching for the moss and vine covered ruins.

There are many treasures to be explored on this trail, including a large town vault, a magnificent old powerhouse, and a towering old mill.

The history of this location makes the experience all the more interesting. Bordeaux was once one of the busiest, oldest logging company towns in the PNW. In 1903 the town had a population of several hundred. Finally, the timber ran out and thus did the purpose for the town.

Today, it makes for unique hiking experience and a portal into the past of Washington.
