Rattlesnake attracts a large crowd everyday, due to the little effort required for great views, as well as the proximity to Seattle. This hike is one where you will never experience solitude, but it a great hike for beginners or people looking for a quick in-and-out hike in a short amount of time. It is 4.0 mi
les roundtrip, and 1160ft of elevation gain. With many switchbacks, the time flies and soon you are nearing the top. You will first encounter a viewpoint and intersection, you can extend your hike by heading to East Peak (2.4 miles), or Snoqualmie Park (8.3 miles).

The downside to this hike is because of its popularity, it also accumulates a great amount of trash. We were able to pack out four bags of trash.
