It should be noted that this is not a public hike, it is on private property, but you can obtain permission through the scenic hot springs website. It is located off the highway to Stevens Pass, and directions can be found through the property managers on the website if granted permission. The hike is around a mile to a mile and a half. The trail begins on a gravel road and continues gradually upwards underneath large power lines. The trail meets the power lines in a meadow, and you begin inclining up the grassy hills. After a reaching a plateau, with views of the highway below, you turn a sharp right and enter into the trees. Immediately you will cross a lukewarm stream crossing the trail, and you will know the hot springs are not far.
You will incline steeply and follow the switchbacks under the trees, in late fall snow is commonly found in the shaded areas of the trail. You will know you are very close when you pass a few unfinished building with plywood lying around, as well as a picnic table. Soon, you will rise up over a small hill to be rewarded with views of the hot springs from above.
At the hot springs, there is a run down "bathroom", which is merely a hole in the ground with a covered roof. The hot springs are surrounded by a deck that has a covering for belongings. As of 2017, the hot springs are being contained by three large agricultural plastic containers, which are surprisingly roomy. The middle container is significantly warmer than the outer two, and you can spend time alternating between the three. The view looks across the valley at the mountains
